Arsenal made a new Type 1 bayonet in the same profile as their AK-74 bayonets, but, designed to fit the Type 1 lug. It was originally made for the SA-M7 classic series, but will fit any AK-47 pattern rifle. The 24 mm version should work with a bayonet. The 14 mm threaded one will be too long. Neither one of those will work with a bayonet on the AKM. The 74 has thr bayonet lug on the front sight block. The AKM does not.
